Laboratories play a crucial role in scientific advancements, but their environmental impact is significant. The healthcare sector contributes 4.4% of global greenhouse gas emissions, with laboratories being a substantial contributor.1 The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) emphasize environmental sustainability, making it imperative for labs to adopt green practices.
